通常50.4 -> sharp starting @ F/2
通常50.8 -> sharp starting @ F/2.8
散景個人preference only, 不過50.8係6角形散景, 50.4就圓好多
有o的人中意6角形, 有o的人中意圓波波, not sure

I used a 50.8 for a couple if months and got a 50.4.
50.4 is much better than 50.8, not only in terms of image quality, but the build quality is soooo much better, with a more solid lens barrel, and a metal mount. It just feels a lot better.
Image wise the colour is warmer on the 50.8, but I like the slightly cooler tone on 50.4. It's just a matter of taste.
The out of focus bokeh on 50.4 is smoother and the out focus light spots are circular instead of oval shape i saw on 50.8.

冇錢就 50.8
有錢就 50.2L
冇原廠情結就 S50.4
有原廠情結就 C50.4

其實之前見太多人講50.4 C/P 差過 50.8 太多攪到我有 50.4 的真心傷
不過佢地比較時好似無乜提 ultrasonic 對焦速度
所以如只影景可能真不需要50.4, 50.8 己好正
但如影人尤其郁緊的人我懷疑 有Ultrsonic 的 50.4 會有優勢
不過我係新手所以不肯定
