http://web.canon.jp/imaging/eosd/firm-e/eos5dmk2/firmware.html (This page will show you how to update.)
Scroll down to the bottom and click ( I Agree)
It will change another page and you can download Firmware update version.
Go back the first page and you can follow the instructions.

I am using Mac too. Canon support Firmware for PC and Mac. Since can not reading photo when I connect with my 5D II. After update solved this problem. That’s why Canon release new firmware solve these different issues. Maybe you don’t have this problem.
