Using Adobe Bridge to open RAW file to PS can make picture files to max 25.2 million pixel.(6144 x 4096). So far I don't find the output of degraded quality. For personal use without commercial printing and under normal condition without serious cropping, 18 mil is sufficient without occupying too much memory card space.

Perhaps 1800 像 is a good balance in order to achieve 12 FPS Raw shooting given 1Ds III is doing 21 MB with 5 FPS and 1D Mark IV is doing 17 MB with 10 FPS. This could be the best of both worlds combining the 1Ds picture quality and 1D speed.

This 1Dx seems to be an upgrade from 1D4 more.....but the price is relatively high......for press users, this should be a perfect camera especially with video function. We will see many of this camera in Olympic Game 2012
