我見有兩款CANON原廠Extension Tube,請問有咩分別呢?

一個厚d,一個薄d係唔係?
簡單o黎講, 厚d o果個可以畀你支鏡貼近個拍攝目標多d(放大d)! 而薄d o果個無貼得o甘近.
o甘放得大d係唔係好d? 其實好睇你o既需要, 不過千其唔好貪心! 因為如果你貼得太近o既話,落燈影野o既時候會好麻煩! 同時厚d o果個失光情況會較嚴重d! 需要補償番!

The general theory is that an extension tube is going to give you a sharper image because it’s an air gap and, unlike a close-up filter, there is no additional glass. An extension tube magnifies an image by increasing the size of the image circle that a lens projects onto the sensor, so the only negative aspect is a decrease in light reaching the sensor and a dimmer image in the view finder. On the surface that seems like a logical answer, but it’s just not that simple…

Why care?

我早排在網中看過一位影友作過拍照測試，從他的照片中，濾鏡比近攝環的影像質數好得多，我沒有此二樣工具，當然相信了。可惜找不到那網址。

既然你有疑問，我便以 close up lens vs macro tube 在 google 裡找尋一下。除了我貼的連結外，在其中有另一網頁中說，在鏡頭前面加近攝濾鏡對照片質數沒有影響，如果要獲得更近的效果，加幾片比加一片更好！不過這說法應更少人可以接受，因為沒有照片登出來佐證。

再者，上文也說 but it’s just not that simple…，可見大家的說法也有問題，除非有影友擁有多片近攝濾鏡及多個近攝環作測試，否則暫時沒有定案。

但多個網頁說近攝濾鏡不會減低光度，而近攝環則越多，光線越弱，則是事實。

努力找尋答案，不是人生的目標之一嗎？

you know, the thing that really made me mad was somebody's tone. why not treating each other as friends? why shouldn't we be more humble?
let's go back to the topic. please pay attention to this ""But as long as it’s a high quality, dual element, close-up lens like the 500D the image quality is just as good as using a tube."".
the real answer can be found from his discription ""is just as good as""! see? he'd never said it was actually better! coz it wasn't! that's the most trickiest part of the article!

pongyee, yes, who cares!

When I first took macro photo many years ago with film, I used extension tube or bellow & believed that the quality of extension tube is much better than close up lens with one glass element. Later when I tried some close up lenses with dual elements, I found from experiment that
(1) extension tube can make larger magnification at the expense of quality (2) photo quality of dual elements close up lenses show higher quality than bellow or extension tube

NOW I don't use bellow & extension for macro, I only use EF 100/2.8 macro or Tamron 90/2.8 for macro

The results are from experiment on my gear & not may not be applicable to others. BUT definitely not "用cloes up filter永遠唔夠用extension ring 影出o黍o既野靚!因為extension ring唔會影響鏡頭質素,用cloes up filter會! "

U may search google "diopter or extension tube" to get better answer.

is WRONG based of my experiment on my gear

May be u can also prove me wrong based on your OWN gear, but have u done any experiment on this? If not, how come u can say "因為extension ring唔會影響鏡頭質素,用cloes up filter會! " , u learn from internet or just from imagination?

Discussion will give the truth, no need to have hard feeling!

咁如果加了Close up lens , normal len 一樣會 enlarge close up lens D defect 架

If your English is good, u can appreciate that "If u use extension ring, u ALSO enlarge the lens defects." does not have any "語病"

If your Chinese is good, u know what is "語病"
"語病" is not related to the "Meaning of the the sentence", but related to the "style of writing the sentence"

依d 都係我用close up lens + 小白影的. 我覺用close up lens 好處係不用帶多支鏡, 免接鏡麻煩. 不過我沒有用過微距鏡或近攝環, 唔知d 相收唔收貨呢師兄.
