I am looking for a light-weighted BENRO tripod but am not sure whether the quick-release lever or the twist-action leg lock is better. Some people say the twist-action leg locks are more prone to slippage. Any idea?!

Are there any BENRO models you C-hing can recommend?

And is it a must to choose BENRO? or you can try another brand?

Yes, i can use another brand as long as it is light-weighted.
My gear is Canon 40D + 10-22/24-105

You may take a look on Sirui R2204 + G20 if you don't mind it's a china brand. Many ppl buy & try it and have posts in dchome.net. As I can't visit dchome.net in office now, therefore no information can give to you. Maybe you can go search in google or dchome.net by yourselves. :D
Sham Shui Po 營記 is their official dealer. Price is $1780 - 2 months ago, I will check the price tonight. :)

depending on what exactly u are looking for! anyway, i deeply believe the one with twist-action leg is more durable!

Big thanks for your detailed reply! I am hoping it is as light-weighted as Benro C68/69. By the way, I always go to Sham Shui Po 營記, and I think I will go there tonight also. Or we will run into each other in the store. :P

I got the R2204+G20 tonight $1780... very nice ;D

It's far enough to support 50D body + 580 EX II + 70-200 2.8 IS + BG-E2N..
Actually, I want to buy M series , but it costs 1k more. :(

I wish I was the guy you saw who bought the gear. I have made many wrong decisions so I am still thinking over and over. Forgot to tell you, I am looking for an all-in-one tripod on any occasions. I most likely bring it with me on a trip or for long shutter speed. What about the brands Gitzo and Manfrotto?

So between Sirui R2204+G20 and Benro C68, being at a similar price, which one is more light-weighted and highly-recommended?
