Actually, i am a D700 user...but i wanna buy a prosumer DC for general use....and i know Nikon prosumer is not very gd.....and it seems the comment of Canon G10 is quite good.....
so wanna know more comment from all ching about the quality of G10~~~thanks~~~

I think G10 is the best DC at the moment. If you can accept the size and weight of G10, go buy it. You won't regret.

G10 has lots of functions close to DSLR, depends on what you need. For general use, I would suggest LX3, good quality, lighter than G10, easy to use. Maybe you can go dpreview to compare LX3 and G10 spec to see which one is more suitable for you. Also, pls go to shops and try the functions / feelings on those cameras. =D

The quality of photo taken with LX3 seems better than G10 at low ISO condition.

I own a G10 and I satisfy with its performance as a DC.
The picture quality is acceptable by ISO 400.
But I shall trade it for 500D for upgrading.
