快同Canon 100-400mm, as I have compared. You won't feel the difference btwn the two, but Canon is bit sharper.

here is my comparison with side by side -

I bought Sigma 120-400mm which is really good, but soon bought Cannon 100-400mm which turns out better. I decided to let 120-400mm go (http://www.dcfever.com/trading/view.php?itemID=309122).

Cannon 100-400mm, better lense, light, but very expensive
Sigma 120-400mm , very good lense, heavier, cheaper
Sigma 150-500mm, xxxxxx, very hearvier, and not that cheap.

I think you may make a decision based on your budget, convenience and the quality. If you do care about money, definitely go with Canon 100-400mm; if you have limited budget but want a good lense, go with Sigma 120-400mm; if you have some more beduget and don't care about weight, go with Sigma 150-500mm. I warn you - the third one is really heavy and, of course, not really "portable".

因我好多時間在Vancouver....所以揾咗長炮好耐..(地大 景多).近排睇鏡頭資料館有關--Sigma120-400mm & 150-500mm.啲評語和師兄啲相....都好掂 (我要求有限....子彈有限)........
亦有PM聯絡多位師兄...請教! 啲師兄好有善.....有相睇..有優点..亦有短處等等.......最後决定做嘢..打电話去定咗支150-500mm.(Cam 2 on sale:$5780
水貨+１４個月保...ok啦! 因我太太呢個星期會由 HK 番過嚟...叫佢去攞.
我太太講:去攞鏡头時啲職員唔錯.攞埋部Canon比佢試....又教佢睇吓鏡頭入面有冇塵..有冇白点...服務態度有90分(我太太評).wan chai shop.
而幾位師兄比我對支鏡嘅平分係....以價論鏡....物超所值...
其中一位師兄Steve_lee真係好難得.同我多次pm講解有關150-500mm鏡.
他的宝貴經驗和時間........真係再講多次-------多謝哂!..

Canon has 7 pins on camera body
On the 2x extension, there are 10 pins on lens side and the lens (100-400 or 70-200 2.8 also has 10 pins)
That extra 3 pins convert the data say 200-->400 & 2.8 -->5.6

I have a tokina 80-200 (10 yr old more) that does not have 10 pins but 7 pin. After I put it on Kenko 2X (10pins on lens side and 7 pins on camera side), exif shows 200 and 2.8 (actually already become 400 & 5.6).

I tried canon 70-200 2.8 on Kenko 2x, exif shows 400 and 5.6 (that's exact data, not like tokina)

Therefore you can fade the camera by taping that extra 3 pins on (100-400 or 70-200 )

I tried focusing tamron 18-200 on Kenko 2x, I couldn't get the focus even on bright sunny day. This is becos the actual light is so low at 200mm (5.6 become 11)

C hing 又唔一定wor 我剛買了一個2X 用2.8 冇問題 光圈變成5.6 但我試轉在24-105 f4 又用到wor 有AF 但就變f8

Also want to share this.....
50 1.8 + Kenko 2X not working all the time， maybe my lens contact is not good.
