For DSLR, 我現在主要用5D2+24-70 2.8L。現正考慮入手35 1.4L,但Canon Rumor site話今年有可能發表35 1.4LII,所以現在心大心細。有冇師兄面對相同情況? 你會否照買35 1.4L定再等一會?

Thanks lewealace, probably I'll wait till the next Canon product announcement. I think Canon might release 60D together with new lens. Although Canon Rumor site claimed that Canon might release new 24-70 2.8L IS USM, I don't think it is likely as it competes with 24-105 4L IS USM. In contrast, 35 1.4L II seems more probable as Canon could introduce SWC coating to this lens.

Although I think Canon might also upgrade its 50mm 1.4 in view of keen competition from Sigma, 35mm 1.4L is definitely one of the likely candidates for upgrade given the release of SWC coating a few years ago. Canon might gradually applies this coating to its lens series, esp. for wide-angle lens.

24-105 L 是有L 鏡色水的 kit 鏡. 價錢相對便宜.因為是"kit".

24-70 L 有沒有 is ,我覺得不重要.

35 L 出左好耐. 冇人sure 會好快有35 L ii

marketing 睇,冇理由打自己其他lens.

wide 至 中 要 2.8 大光圈 ,可能技術上難做.
