小弟用緊 500D, 以前用過400D, 對400/500D 高ISO 既 noise control 唔太滿意(主要影寵物同風景，多數夜晚)。

有考慮會轉5D Mk II。都到網上做左好多research, 但係除左高ISO抗noise，畫質方面又好似唔係太大分別，(不過我係網上睇sample好少同一個spot用唔同機影咁compare)

想問下其實FF同APSC既除左會改變左個焦距，重會有D乜野唔同？會唔會係特定情況先會特顯到佢地既分別？(例如低光環境用高ISO…)

Many people cannot distinguish between photos shooting with FF & APS-C. If u can distinguish them, then it is no harm to go FF. Otherwise, just save your $ to buy lenses instead.

假設 16mm on FF and 10mm on APSC 一齊影既分別 ,其實接近一樣,只可說FF大致有以下優點及缺點

Full Frame的優點
•解像力高
理論上，像素相同而感光元件大，每個像素點的受光面積也會增大，所以解像力會提高。
•訊噪控制強
因為像素點面積大，在相同光線量下能比APS-C的吸收更多資訊，信號放大器增幅率低，因此全片幅能更有效控制訊噪(Noise)，高ISO時也能表現得比較平滑。
•取景器(View Finder)更大更清楚
因為感光元件大，令相機內也能用上更大、質量更好的五棱鏡，使取景器的形像變得更大更清楚，而APS-C的就像"坐井觀天"一樣。
•高光溢出較輕微
高光溢出就是當相機拍攝非常光的物體(如太陽)的時候感光元件資訊飽和，整個畫面從上端至底端形成一條白色條紋，常見於包含太陽的相片中，因為Full Frame像素面積大，資訊難以飽和，所以高光溢出情況也較輕微。
•暗部層次突出
跟上一個特點一樣，因為Full Frame像素面積大，對弱光較敏感，令暗部層次也能顯示，如果連同上一點一起解釋的話便是Full Frame擁有較廣闊的動態範圍(Dynamic Range)了。
•拍攝超廣角不用專用鏡頭
因為沒有焦距放大的問題，所以一支10mm的鏡頭在Full Frame下能盡用超廣角。

Full Frame的缺點
•對鏡頭的要求好高
因為FF機同多咗鏡頭邊位,對鏡頭的要求好高,由其邊緣解像力
•價格高
無可否認，因為所部份的元件也加大了，所以機身和鏡頭的成本增加而導至價格高昂
•體積大、重量高
體積當然不用說，最可惜的是連鏡頭也一併增大(因為鏡頭直徑需要配合)，令攜帶不便，而且體力要求高。
•長焦沒有放大
因可視角不變，所以一支300mm的鏡頭在Full Frame也只是300mm，但在APS-C下便是1.5-1.6倍了！

1. the photos are taken with identical setting (M mode, same ISO, same lighting), the different in darkness is due to the difference between APS-C & FF (FF have more dark corner)
2. personally I don't use 5D2 very much, because it requires very good lenses, e.g. 70-200/f2.8 or 2.8IS to show it advantages. I think 50D is more suitable for my works & hobby

is that the reason why u would be able to "distinguish" a pic that taken by APS-C or a full frame camera? can u distinguish by looking just one photo that shot by a 50mm or some longer lenses?

Many users buy FF camera do not know the advantages & disadvantages of FF.

For the same angle of view, e.g. a 50mm on FF & a 80mm on APS-C canon, FF picture has appear to have a "narrower depth of field". This is good for portrait & bad for wedding photography of group of people.

Experienced user can distinguish them.

BUT for wide angle lenses, the advantage of APS-C is obvious, the edge is sharper, the depth of field is larger, less dark corner etc.

i guess i will buy more lens to play instead of upgrading my camera at this moment.

But on the other hand, i feel it is so waste to buy anymore EFS lens as i may buy FF in the future. Is there any good wide angle lens you recommanded except the EFS 10-22?

如果未來升FF,現在建議有2支廣角

1: SIGMA12-24, 現在FF可用唯一最WIDE這支鏡,整体有平均的表現,用在FF能裝FILTER,光圈4.5-5.6,沒有恆定光圈,影境122度視覺真係一絕

2: CANON 16-35 II, 畫質比SIGMA12-24好,有恆定光圈,但係貴同少了4MM廣角

本人唔太建議C記17-40,因為在以上兩支中,有D兩頭唔到岸的感覺........
