people always say C 24-70 out focus.
I didnt use S 24-70 HSM before
but i just know i used S 24-70 DG before, it s terrbily out focus...
so far, i used more than 10 canon lens, no one is out focus,
include my Canon 24-70.
and that s why i decide to use all org lens.
org is more stayble.

SIGMA 24-70 DG外邊口啤係好過Canon 24-70L，我用5D2夾Canon 24-70L......我覺得重係我一個大問題！！而我朋友用SIGMA 24-70 DG，佢都係曾用Canon 24-70L，佢分析比我話SIGMA 24-70 DG夾5D2好d，但我無聽佢講，後來有d人話我知，SIGMA呢支色彩係高Canon dd。但我朋友意見都係；要入手的話買2手，除左你唔打算放出去，否則副廠鏡難保值！小小意見仔！

sigma 鏡... 一手價二手價... 唔會太大變化...
canon 鏡... 一手價成日升... 二手價自然又升... 變成好似鏡都可以升值咁...
我個人會考慮邊支鏡o岩自己用... 多過一年差一千幾百... ^.^"

Hi,

In fact, i would like to said, try and buy is the last thing you can do and is the only thing you can do to make you get your most correct answer......just like canon 50 1.4/1.2 and Sigma 50 1.4 (近排火爆吐論中)......... try canon one and sigma one at shop, but you should prepare something or routine you want to test it....(e.g. square paper, object to test focus correctness(i use hand held calculator to test focus....haha i think most people no how to use calculator to test focus)..........

Previously a C Hing said he love the drawback of canon 50 1.2 and feeling or atmosphere for its double lined bokeh....... after reading this, i just think if you pay more for L lens so that you love(or even seriously pound of it) all its drawback (someone like, someone not), then why you can't also put your appreciate eye sight on a product, which cost less and not poor to a level of making you hate it................. such kind C Hing if you pound of your skill i think 草木皆可成天兵, sigma也可影沙龍..........

I can't consider sigma when I need focus speed for my son's action. Even the sigma 24-70 PQ better than Canon's a bit, the C 24-70 still perfect than the S 24-70

用於5D2,
會out Foc要Cal鏡,hood太短於烈日下容易出現耀班,放大率廠鏡好啲,AF比廠鏡大聲左啲同慢左啲!
其它皆優於或同廠鏡平手!(都正常嘅因為EF 24-70 f/2.8L都出左7年而Sigma只係1年貨仔)
不過5D2內置鏡頭修正就唔支援Sigma, 黑角變形等修正要用software tune!

無防水防塵喎.... <- surely one of a reasonable concern.......... kobesun..... you can try to make comparison of price in your mind, so that you can know 防水防塵 worth how many dollar in your mind? will it affect your photo quality? do you have humidity control case for a over 10 thousnd dollars lens.....防水防塵 surely not include 防"毛"....... neither lens can 防"毛" , so buy good thing just like chase good looking girl...you are fair to chase it, but you need to concern whether you can keep it and accompany for brillant future.....

for fair i am a owner of 24-70 canon L...so i surely like it....but i have not try sigma before so i can't comment......

Someone after reading my word will said 攪笑.... then i will think 攪笑 means no big deal and at least speaking in a way like that can listen calmly...........我相信傷害別人的話無助討論.

i think you own not so much lens, so don't know you concern following statement that i quote from you the link i show you before:

An 82mm filter diameter makes the Sigma 24-70 very wide at the objective end, makes filters very expensive (and able to be shared with few other lenses)
