I bought the housing right after it's available. Tried it at Anilou (Phillipines) , the housing is very pricey , costed me 1800 while the G11 costed only 3950...
both pic and movie quality are good , better (mainly due to better ISO control ) than my friend who are using smaller machines. Actually, external strobe makes the major difference ~
the housing with big control knobs makes things easy to handle even u are wearing diving gloves, and the performance "on land" is good enough so that u can leave your heavy DSLR home (it's good when the diving gears weight already 30lbs....)
