 40D >>> 7D or 5DII or no change? Post time: 11 月 26 日 |

using 40D with
C 10-22
C 24-105
Sigma 50.4
I have the following concerns:
1. 10-22 is really good , if FF , need to switch to 17-40 which is not much diff in terms of PQ, if 16-35, that's much more expensive...
2. the shutter sound of 5D is weired , not "SONG"....
3. ISO is a main concern as I am too lazy to bring the external flash
4. Monitor display quality of 5d and 7d are the same ???? both of them are much better than my 40D , is it a big diff ?
5. both 5d and 7d have Peripheral lignthing adjustment , which is important to me while the 40D doesn't have it.
6. 7d and 5d have AF adjusment ....is it a very usful function?
7. 7 D is newer , but should I wait for 5DIII ???
Chings , please help , I dun have an urgent need, but seeing the 7d adv. every hour on TV , I need a good reason to change/stay the same...

feature upgrade --> 7D
photo upgrade --> 5D2
For me I only consider if the photos's color rendering, composition (DOF), resolution (sharpness), etc. So I will choose 5D2. Feature in a camera is just a tools to make you easier to get higher keeper rate, doesn't matter to me.

如果係XX0D up 7D 會係比較大upgrade... 但係40D 就真係睇你需要...
就算係5D2 都係睇你自己要求同想影D 咩... 好難俾建議...
如果睇廣告就要買o野... ching 未免太過易被動搖... 你睇埋其他ching d 毒相... 你可能會破產...

40D 上 7D \ 5DM2 都係大改變... 7D 同 40D 分別係 ISO \ 對焦 \ 測光. 5DM2 畫質 \ ISO \ FF. 如果我會建議你上 Show room 玩吓先 ( 攞張 CF 去試) . 唔好只係聽人講.

The only reason I upgrade from 30D to 5DII is the light low performance. Seems like money is not an issue for you. I am sure 5DII worth every dollar you invest.

5DII sells quality. If you not usually use high ISO, not 100% magnification of photos to see details, just seeing pics on a cheap computer and LCD, then better to save money and go to 7D.
I think you need to buy either one because you a itchy now.

One stupid question. Why shutter sound matter? Does it affect image quality?

YES , I enjoy playing with the camera , when I go home , I just download them into my mac ,that's it ....haha
