I looked this up myself a little bit earlier as an option when I travel to HK so I don't need to carry more lenses or even the tripod. I have no experience about this place and don't even know whether it is still in business.

It seems like it will be around 500 HKD a day for an entry level body + lens and there are not that many selections. I guess it all depends on the purpose and your needs to see whether it is worth the money or risk.

My strategy now is to make some friends here and then borrow from them when I make my next trip there :).
