According to Ken Rockwell's lens review (http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/85mm-f18-g.htm),

Nikon 85mm F1.8 G has Rain Seal at Mount - ie has O-ring at the lens mount.
But this does not mean it is water/rain/dust proof !
