D700 VS D3 which one is better?

Are you talking about D3 or D3s??? Are you sure you are talking about the out of production D3?

It comes down to what is you need on the camera.

If you are a working pro, D3 series like D3s & D3x, you won't be disappointed. Reason being it is a true working machine.

The body design just feel great in your hand. After long time using, you don't feel tired because it just fit so well to asian hand.

With all the buttons on D3 series body, it make your work flow soooooo much faster on all adjustment.

Imaging say it gives you 4 second faster advantage on each photo taken, after a full day session, for over 1000 photos, you may save up more than an hour on job. Your client love it (they pay for less hour), your wife love it (you are going back home earlier), and you love it too (happy wife, happy life)

D3 series is kinda weather proof. You don't have to worry about the rain unless it is pouring raining.


On the other hand, D700 is an excellent camera if you are only an amateur.

It can give you around 80% what the D3 series can do.

D700 is much better in low light if you are comparing it to D3 (but not D3s).

D3 一張 14 bit raw大約幾多mb?

depending on the compression mode you are using, it's varies between 11MB to 15MB.

Out of my memory and I hope this is correct.

i really could prefer D700 because on price and weight.
Unlikely Piero c-hing as a pro, D3 or D3s gives him his “need”, faster and friendlier handling and AF system.
For normal usage like landscape, pets, kids daily photo taking. D700 is way more then enough on picture quality and af speed. Only i am complaining is the 95% ovf.
