Please note I'm using D80 (before I've used F90x - all lens r af-d) & would like to try some manual lens - like carl zeiss or contax or some kind of old manual lens. but I'm really confused of the mount different - which Ok for D80 or D700 ? what's M42 & ZF, Ai or Ais different. Is anybody can give me some information, so I can join or enjoy the manual lens group. thanks for yr information.

You can use Adapter to couple different cameras mounts ,Sometimes,you have to use manual mode.You can check up with camera shops esp. those with second hand cameras/lens.I had came across some camera shops with many coupling ring hang on the shop windows.Those coupling rings is for different brand cameras to use other brand lens.Try go 香檳大厦 in Tsimshatsui.On the ground floor.
