Have you come across with the experiences when putting newly charged 4x 2AA batteries iinto K200 but shwon with low or nil power level. I believe the bud is caused by the updated firmware provied by Pentax V1.01 since 2011.

You may try to reboot the K200 to switch on the power button and the menu at the same moment. For my self K200, it comes back to normal to indicates the normal "full charge" of the newly charged 4 x 2AA batteries.

Therefore, if some C-hing have the same problem, pleaese try the above method. If someone have the new solution for the power consumptiom for K200, please let me known.
