I have been using Canon G7 for years and very happy with its functions and picture quality. This year I thought it is time to upgrade, so bought the G12. I am so disappointed that there was not major improvement in functions. That's OK. But the focusing and white balance are really bad - much worse than my G7. After using it for 4 months, I can not tolerate it any more so just sold it. Very bad experience.

我也明白樓主的不快經驗(雖然我沒有G12)，我知道G12是一部為出而出的機，同埋老實講G12功能真係相當雞肋，是一部不值$3500-$4000的機款；另有朋友說這機AUTO時室內極易偏色(好似係偏黃)，所以你趁早把之出售是一個明智之選擇。未來相信G12二手價跌價好快：一來G12規格真的比同級的雞肋，故今時今日, 以近$3000-$4000的價錢, 消費者真係好多其他好的選擇；二來，我見FORUM及YAHOO拍賣放G12的人實在不少；三來，近三個月FORUM己較少人提及和推薦。

相信市面不難找到比G12好的相機，希望日後你買到合心水的相機昤能影得更暢快。

yes, had to cut loss. Right, exactly, i got very yellow pics when using AUTO, and very blurred too.

there are just too many near-new G12 for sale now - many are saying it is a lucky draw gift.
