Calculation of electricity consumable is very rough for the battery charging. It can be calculate as follows:

Let's take an example of charging of 4 pieces 2000mAh and each battery rated at 1.2V.

Suppose one battery requires charging from 0mAh (actually it cannot be 0mAh) to 2000mAh (ie 2Ah fully charged).

The electricity consumption for each battery is V x I x hr = 1.2 x 2Ah = 2.4Wh.

Four batteries require 2.4 x 4 = 9.6Wh = 0.0096kWh.

Hong Kong Electricity is around HK$0.85 per kWh.

That means charging 4 batteries require 0.0096 x 0.85 = HK$0.000861
