Every digital camera USB port is different in size, shape and maybe digital signal. Is it suitable for all types of digital camera?

All USB ports are same in size. One end fits to the DC and the other end fits to the computer (now fits to the iRiver unit). The end that fits to the computer must be the same. On the unit is a mini USB port. I guess it will supply a converter from normal size USB to mini USB. If not, then buy one for $20 in any computer shop.
There is a similar thing in the market called 'Digital Camera Link' which also uses the USB cable to transfer pictures to the iPod. It has been tested for 90% DC in the market including the D70 and so. So I believe the compatibility would not be an issue unless your DC doesn't have the USB transferability.

how long to transfer, say, 512M or 1G, photos from digital camera to iriver?

The size is 70% bigger than Gmini 220. The LCD display photos only in the middle part of the LCD, not in Full screen. Therefore the viewing size af photos is about the size of your 1.5" LCD in your DC.

依家好多 dc 的 usb 都 support USB mass storage.
所以應該問題唔大，
但係好似佢個 usb host 係 1.0，
過 100 MB 都要好耐喎...

你可以用個card reader 駁去部 iriver 度. 相機繼續影. and 就算係部相機唔support 個link 都可以咁做..
