Extreme III => about 120X => about 20MB/s

1GB price (2006-05-13) golden price :
Ultra II => about $29x
Extreme III => about $59x

I have 1GB Ultra II and use Large/Fine (not raw mode), 連拍 speed ok.
If any brohter tried Extreme III card, let share your experience.

I also have Ultra II 1GB, but it can only take 109 RAW photos. Thinking to upgrade to Extreme III 2 GB. And the price is still the same $1150. Hoping the price is going to fall soon.

I don't understand why your 1GB can take 109 RAW photos. Mine is using Hitachi micordrive 2GB. However, I can only take about 100 RAW photos. Is Utra II have more memory than the microdrive???

to mendel: my DSLR is 20D, after I format that Ultra II 1 GB within 20D, it says 109 photos.

I still want a faster and more memory , so EX III is a better choice because I like to take RAW photos.

I know why sometime I can store 109 RAW photos and sometimes less for Ultra II 1GB.

When you change the ISO setting, the number of photos will change.
