I bought my Canon 400D last week. And I got this Electro Mex (the brand) replacement battery for Canon NB-2LH as free gift.
I am wondering if it's safe to use replacement battery on my camera?

it couldn't be recharged and so i asked for a replacement

the tel. no. on the package is something of a secretary service and a man told me where to go for a replacement

but the 2nd one also failed, and the man didn't call me again no matter how many times i called him

Well, in your case, the battery couldn't be recharged. But it did no harm to your camera, right?
