前幾日買左斻部 Canon IXUS II 相機, 盒裡面送左2張光碟,分別是Camera Suit 1.2 and Digital Camera Solution Disk . 前面果張就可以,但後面果張就安裝唔到,更出現"1607,unable to install Installshield Scripting Runtim" 的句子, 點解咁?而家吾可以將相傳送到電腦, 好慘呀!!!!Thankssssssssssssssss very much!!!!

Camera Suit 1.2 是安裝執相用的軟件, 如 PhotoImpressions, and VideoImpressions. PhotoImpressions 是用來 edit, print or manipulate images, VideoImpressions 是用來 edit the movies recorded by your Canon IXUS II。呢個你己裝好, 但還未有你部相機的 driver, 因此還未可以確認你部機。

The Canon Solution disc provides the drivers for operating systems that require it。所以你必要從此 Solution disc 來裝好你部相機的driver, 才可以用電腦來download你的相機內的相。

"1607,unable to install Installshield Scripting Runtim" 的句子, 原因是:
Windows XP 有一個內部的安裝程式, 叫 Windows installer, 她是在安裝 XP 時已存在, 但也有一d安裝的程式要先將此 Windows installer 啟動才可以安裝那 Program。

今次如你所遇的問題就是 Solution disc 要用到此內部的安裝程式 Windows installer, 但你還未啟動她, 所以便有那句 Error 的訊息出來。

要啟動此 Windows installer, 你試下如下的方法:

不要用那 CD 的 Autorun, 即是當你放隻 CD 去時自動出現的畫面, 你就 Exit 左佢先

然後在 Window Explorer (檔案總管), 去你的 CD 的 File List 度看看有沒有一個副檔名叫乜乜.msi(xxxxxx.msi) 的檔案, 檔案類型是叫 "Windows Installer 封裝" 的, 如有就直接用佢來安裝

如沒有, 就再看看有沒有一個叫 instmsia.exe 或 inst????.exe, 總之是 inst 字的 exe 執行檔, 如有就先 double click 佢來啟動 Windows installer, 執行完後有可能叫你從新 boot 機或再從新執行 setup.exe (Autorun) 便可。
