When I am using manual Mode, I can't use the Exposure Compensation. ie. Push the "+/-" button and turn the comand dial together.
Is it right ? or is my DC gets a problem?

緊係唔得啦! 話明係manual 嗎, 要加強暴光咪減慢shutter speed同增加aperture 去做囉!

Since I was using CP5000, which I can adjust the exposure compensation in M mode.

Sorry, I just bought it yesterday. Still don't know so much.
I compare to CP5000 as follows
1)發覺cp5400 容易控制, 有my menu 及 Mode dial, 好用
2)Zoom 4x 好了好多，而且digital Zoom 好以好過cp5000, I saw it only in LCD up to 6x.
3) Manual Focus, cp5000有 meter reference, CP5400 冇 -_-..............
4) CP5400 拍照時 一定要用lcd，即是viewfinder 好似乜用 -_-..............

其實5000同5400比,如果只講操作的話,我覺得5000重好用,screen比5400大,配件比5400多(暫時),而且我覺最正係5000後面個LCD,幾乎所有拍攝資料都可以睇到,令你可以唔用screen來影相都清楚知到點操作,慳番好多電,而且5000加wide鏡後有成19mm咁闊,這點都係5400唔及的,不過5000 o的動作又真係慢d o既,心急人千其如好用 : (

Yup, I agree with u totally.
Since my friend wanted to buy my CP5000, so sold it and Bought a CP5400 in 2nd Hand. HaHa
Ar, Is there a programe to check the dead pixel and hot pixel?
Do u know?? i have downloaded before, but lost it. Thx so much
