就算配上雞鏡只須ps一下畫質也可接受,
高iso燥點也在我容許範圍內!
玩了幾天, 微距風景偷拍樣樣掂!
相比10d雖然lock了很多function,
但對於"玩家"等級已綽綽有餘!

$7980就有body, 正!
唯一仍感失望的就是x1.6,
希望快點出萬元內x1.3的dslr 咁canon就真係玩x晒!

If only use "hen" lens on 300D and not using some L lens, I prefer to buy some high tech DC such as F828 or A1.

If you use 70-200 f/2.8 L and 75-300 USM III to take a same photo, I think that PS cannot help use to make the photo having more details just like the photo from 70-200 f/2.8L.

So, L lens is a must for Canon DSLR.

hen lens vs "L" lens

I think that it will be fair for the lens if taking photo under the same camera with different lens.

It is really a good news, everybody can save more money and no need to buy the expensive L lens. And Canon no need to design the new L lens as UD lens, SUD lens, flourite lens, DO lens have not much advantages on forming images. That's very good. So, we can wait for the new generation of EF-S lens.

I really want to see the differnece for below combinations.

1) 70-200mm f/2.8 L lens (using 200mm) with 300D
2) 75-300mm USM III (also using 200mm) with 300D

Are you currently using a Canon EOS 1Ds with EF 70-200 IS USM lenses? If yes, you are really a big spender.

Being a Canon DSLR in entry level, EOS 300D prefers to be suitable for adopting such cheaper lenses as ef 75-300 III USM or 55-200 II USM rather than those "red-circle" or "L" ones. Actually, there is no need to do so for the times being.

Of course, you may be a big spender $$$$$$$

No, I am very poor. No money to buy camera.

But I just wonder why L lens is no good for 300D. But many people like L lens and use a lot of money to buy it. As we know, once 300D was released, 17-40mm f/4L and 70-200mm f/4L are out of stock. Many people want to buy them. Does it really good for 300D? If not, why they want to buy L lens for 300D?

I have no money, so, I think I'm not a big spender but many people are.

P.S. -- It is really an advantage when using L lens on film camera.

Let's make an assumption. If EOS 300D is capable of dominating the market share of DSLR camera successfully, then there may be a new series lenses instead of the current EF series. Well, It may be EF-S or something like this. To believe or not to believe is just up to you...

As for EF 17-40 f/4L & 70-200 f/4L, they have been out of stock consecutively times when Canon EOS 10D is available for sale.

In my opinion, the bundle EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 lenses being purchased together with EOS 300D has been enough for daily photography. That will appreciate if a similar lens with USM can be sold separately.

This website is really interesting. Anyway, people may feel comfortable (or professional) when using a L lens (value for money as it only costs you ~10K!).

I feel more comfortable with hen lens,
just cost 1/10 of the L lens, no need to be worry broken or scratch.

Also quality is acceptable. Skills should be in the 1st piority!

Buy the L-zoom or prime lens.

Prime lens is not expensive, but with quality as good as L-zoom. Not only the saturation and sharpness, but also the distortion occur in the small aperature cheap zoom.

EF-S 只是針對 300D 來設計, Canon 應該暫時都以 EF 為主, 及繼續 design "L" 鏡, 如果用新出的 55-200 mm 和 70-200mm L 用在 EOS1V 上, 小弟相信 "L" 鏡一定勝出, (先不要談技術),

參考過上面的 wen site, 小弟猜對了, 因為第一幅較 sharp, 這是 300D 的特色, 因 10D 較 soft , 而第二幅的 details 較多, 這是鏡頭的長處了, 特別用在菲林機上, "L" 鏡 更優勝.

以上只是單從光學角度看, 至於影相靠技術, 人所共知, 但一位大師級人馬用部 EOS1V 再加支 普通鏡 及 "L" 鏡, 來影相比較, 我諗會有分別卦, 如果唔係, National Geographic 都唔會用咁多白色鏡, 紅圈仔去影啦, 始終一分錢一分貨, 豐儉由人,

不過, 300D 會唔會夾大光圈 "L" 鏡冇咁好呢? 個 body 又輕又膠.

Wow! 看過 Pentax DSLR 的 sample, 冇得頂. 300D 可以眠一眠, 先前有些人話唔會換鏡和買貴鏡的, 但又想玩DSLR, 不妨考慮下 Pentax 及 S2Pro. S2Pro 的質素, 小弟認為比 10D 及 D100 還高.
