Software is not as good as your own eyes. To check for a dead pixel (which always appears black on all exposures), just shoot a white paper in normal light. If the pixel is dead it will show black against the white.
As for a stuck pixel (always appears white on all exposures), you need to shoot a black paper. The stuck pixel will show as white against the black.
Just open your images at the actual size and have a look carefully, if you don't see these abnormal black or white pixels on the final images, then you don't need to bother about it.
