Hi everybody,

Well, I have just purchased a Canon EF 85 f/1.8 USM in Man Shing on 18/10. The first one is seriously scratched on the lens cap. The second one is very dirty. Finally, the third one seems to be OK. When I take a closer look at home, I just find that there is a "BIG" hair within the lens elements. What the hell is going with Canon's quality check? Is it normal or paranormal with Canon lens?

Do I need to get it back for replacement? Please give me your opinion.

For sure you should get a replacement. I also have my EF85 bought in Man Shing and luckily it is fine. Good luck!

Of course, it is abnormal. A prompt replacement is a must.

Well, I mean "毛", not "頭髮". It's a most visible "毛". Because I have already opened 3 Canon EF 85 f/1.8 USM lenses over there in Man Shing, so I just wonder whether Man Shing is willing to exchange me another "brand-new" one or not.

Is there something wrong the quality of Canon lenses???

Sorry for my incorrect expression. It seems to be a thin line or "毛線".
