I 'd like to buy a Ricoh C4 Wide (28-85mm)just for ordinary life, any body knows the quality and the price?
It is said around $2400, but in mainland China it is about 2300, why? what should be included? (extra SD Card, chargable battary??) and also, where will be the best place to buy DC in Hong Kong (I just arrived in this city 2 weeks ago) , thank you very much

ricoh is just famous for one camera. GR1 series. nothing else. dont believe? u cant buy one to try.

i dont mean everything ricoh is bad. film camera GR1 series are very excellent cameras actually. but DC? no way.

I am the ower of Minolta 7HI and recently i buy one Ricoh C4 Wide for daily snap-shooting. Before, i used D60 for digital.

I have to say that after a month use, the Ricoh C4 is an great camera. The start up time, time lag, focusing time, and battery life, all make me happy and surprise. If you like wide angle digital compact, this is the only choice but great choice.

I also have a Ricoh GR1S, of course it has good reputation. However, i find that the lens distortion of the C4 at 28mm is even better than the GR1S.

I bought mine at $2400, two AA batteries, a rechargable battery, the charger, a small pouch, software, and a 64M SD card are included.

I highly recommend this camera to you, nikke.

btw, can you recommend me the shop address? for I am a new Hong Kong resident ( in Hong Hom)
I think now the price will be even lower, for the time issues,anyway I will buy one in the next weeks (waitting for the salary:)

我唔覺RICOH 的機有咩大問題﹐本身RICOH
的定位就係廉價入門機﹐質素同其它高階DC
比當然不及。最大問題可能只係相片多NOISE。

但若非對相片質素要求很高﹐RICOH 真係唔錯的選擇。
