I feel headache to select from Canon A80 and Kodak DX6440, the overall functions of these two DC seem similar. Can someone tell me which is better for MM and a beginner? How about the image quality of these two DCs?

DX6440: Colour good, but image not sharp. Easy / simple to use. Much lesser manual control / function. Cheaper. (But use SD Card)

I ALSO choose this 2 before, finally I BUY A80
Pay $500 more for FLIP LCD and M mode;
and made in japan

Kodak is made in China

I think the place of production is not essential,
I think the function and performance is more important
A-80 have manual function, but 6440 has f2.2 and 4x zoom,
u should consider these points

I just think A80 is too heavy to carry for a lady, especially when you go out to travel, you expect the bag you carried would be the lighter, the better. But there are too many people recommend Canon DC, is it really much better than the Kodak DC?

其實或多或小都有慣性收視,我原本都考慮 6490 ,但最後轉投 A80.

When I compare these two DCs, I finally select Canon A80..
Very good.
Now broadway, fortress are out of stock. next shippment may not be made in japan,

A80 is still avialable in fortress or broadway
just dun buy in MK is ok ^^

其實依家Canon個牌子咁響，就算佢比?乜你，
個個人都話正，但係買相機唔係靜係買個牌子同
功能多就得，最緊要都係相片出來校果靚唔靚，
信?自己對眼好過啦。要Canon機相片質素見得人，
起碼要"S"系列還可以，至於"A"系列真係唔入流，
但係Kodak Dx6440相片校果真係唔錯架，可能
個牌子唔夠響同個外形差?，所以至少人提佢啦。
