I want buy Canon G3, but it is hard to find G3 in HK now. Anybody knows where G3 is still on sale in HK? Please!

many camera shops in TST still got G3. Donno if it's hong or water goods. If you really want to buy a G3, try your luck! Well, TST is a tourist area...donno about the price (maybe tourist price)...

the shop named " Circle " .The sales said that there are 4 or 5
stock in their head-office !

I love this G3 very much ! When it arrived on the retail shop,
I want to buy it first , but the price is $5980.-- only 32 CF card !
It's too expensive !!!!!!! After I heard a new genaration of CANON
G5. I think that is best time to buy G3 ! Let me tell you first , I bught
G3 last Oct also need $4980.-- plus 32 + 128MB CF card !!!!
I don't think anymore to buy it ! Many people said G3 is the best DC,
not include D-SLR ! I am agree ! G3 is better than G5 !

I think many people said G2 is the best of Canon G series, not G3 and G5.

Hello Pigdog,

Yup G2 is the milestone of G series.
But actually, G3 is more better than G2,
G3 cannot replace the milestone of G2
just because it's limited improvement,
better operation, stronger battery ultilization;
DIGIC....etc.
So that G3 is just some minor update from G2.
And because of that, it's the most powerful G series than others.
the biggest drawback from G5 is the 5MP CCD with the same size
of 4MP CCD which was used on G3...
The result, more noise....
What the shame of that...
