各位, 我想問下 ISO 值, 應該幾時先去改變佢???
我部機有 ISO 50 , 100, 200 , 400, 以我所知, 個數值越大, 就係夜裏適合影??
但其它數字, 我就唔知幾時先去選用, 麻煩教教我

In general, lower ISO is prefered whenever possble because it has lower noise for DC, and finer grain for film. Lower noise or finer grain pictures usually can sustain higher blown up prints. Also, lower ISO allows slower shutter speed to blur motion, while faster ISO allows faster shutter speed to freeze motion. And sometimes we would be forced to use higher ISO if the shooting conditions are too dark to achieve bright enough result, or when we need to achieve a good balance between the background and the subject when using flash.

For instance, if you shoot inside a restaurant without tripod and do not want completely dark background (typical auto flash result), you can set ISO400 1/30 f2.8 with TTL flash. This way, both the subject & the background will be well-exposed. However, if ISO50 was used for the same setting, the background will become very dark while the subject will be overexposed (because the TTL flash will try to compensate for the loss of background light, but obviousely failed, yet quite typical for full auto system).
