昨晚才拿到全新的D2H, 今日馬上拿出街試，所有功能都很好，White Balance 比 D-100 準確好多，很多新功能要花一些時間去適應，大概情況如下：

8fps 十分之好，但真係好快，要花時間適應。
新的CMOS 暫時找不到大問題，會用RAW format 打印一張試試。
AF 和過去的系統大有提升，就算在很暗環境下，仍然應付有餘。
從ISO 200-800 ，Nosie 不大明顯，過了800 就開始出現，但仍能接受，如用RAW Format, 可用Capture 4修正。

暫時報告，會再作詳細分析

Does D2H use CMOS? I heard it should be JFET.

I just use the term cmos. iT IS THE GENERAL TERM.

D2H當然比D100好, 因為不但上級數不同, 而且 D2H是新一代的產品, 自然在影像質數上更好。至於對焦, 我地試過用來拍攝賽車, 對焦速度和準確度明顯比D1H提高, 和一向以快的C記有得比。

May I ask a question, in my impression continuous AF tracking, F5 > EOS 1V. Then if D2H > D1H, does it mean its AF performance is better than EOS 1V?

and yes, agreed, FET is a variant of CMOS.

我未用過F5和EOS 1V, 所以不能下評論那一架連續AF較快。不過在今次澳門賽車中我用過D1H, D2H, D1X, 和EOS 1D, 在連續AF時, EOS 1D和D2H幾乎感覺不到鏡頭在對焦, 只見賽車在觀景器內由遠至近都是清晰的。至於D1H和D1X, 雖然對焦仍然很快, 但是感到有點遲疑, 並不是連續不斷的。而D1H比D1X好些。這可以見到就算是同一機身也會有不同表現。

I am new to the digital world. The D-100 I just brought a month ago and I just have the D2H yestersday. However, I have been using the 2 F5s maily for wild life photography for the last 5 years ( from the old school). I am always compare the AF speed of other camera with the F5. Since in the film world. you don't have the beauty to see your picture until its process. You need to trust your equipment to do the job for you and the F5 never fail me. I have not have a chance to use the D2H on high speed shooting yet. Just play around with it give me the impression that it can out perform the F5.

I certainly recommed the D2H over the EOS 1D. It is not because I know what the EOS can do but I have the D2H already and Nikon equipment is always my first choice.

I have neither of them, but just have briefly played the F5 and 1V in shops. At the time, Nikon has no AFS, so 1V is quite a clear winner.

Later Nikon introduced AFS, I have read a web review stating F5 is marginally better in tracking fast moving object counting the number of frames "in-focused".

No doubt D2H may further out perform 1D given the technology is 1 more notch up from F5.

But looking at the paper spec. 1D do have a smaller crop factor and an electronic shutter which enable an ultra high speed shutter and flash sync.

As a result, I quite like to know if D2H is a clear winner in turns of AF or not. If not, I think an 1D is better.

the new CMOS in Nikon D2H is call "LBCAST"... and this device is a lot better then old CCD and also better then Canon CCD, cause is 4 colors base.

D2H 和 1D 兩者都是好機, 要作出抉擇並不容易。用家其實心中有數，如果是Nikon迷自然會選D2H, Canon選1D的。

跟據D2H的Catalogue, LBCAST仍是RGBG, 不過讀資料時是分成兩個Channels, 因此在讀資料的速度會比較傳統的CCD快。而LBCAST的設計正合D2H快的要求。在影像質數方面顯然不是LBCAST的主要發展方向, 不過, D2H的影像是比1D好, 特別是反差方面。畢竟Canon 1D是上一代的產品。
