I use Cokin

also kenco and hoya.

Lee filter is good, but very expensive. I feel that they are expensive because they are larger in size. Not better in quality.

I have been using HOYA, Kenko, B+W, Nikon & Pentax filters for many years. I honestly cannot see any optical advantage from those top brands like B+W which many claimed to be the best (probably due to their price and German origin). If fact, I do not like B+W which have very thick & heavy mounts, and their retaining rings loosen themselves out of box (quite common). On the other hand, I like Pentax because of their extreme flare resistance ability due to SMC. But they are expensive so I use monocoated HOYA mostly.

since I have no idea on filter... I knew the nikon PL filter is like $1500 4 77mm... =>.<=

I know you have a lot of lens, why dont you consider buying system filter such as Cokin , Hitech or Lee Filters?

That's the price to pay for "the best". But practically, you might buy 77mm filters only and use 72-77mm step-up ring. Regular (blue label) HOYA CPL is ok.

a cokin P sze CPL is only $5XX, with adapter + adapter ring you can buy one CPL and use on every lens you have

One of my friend said Pentax is not that bad... is SMC coating... the only reason no one use is because pentax is not common in HK...

what do you guys think about it? do you guys think is better than hoya, cokin, B+W...

If you have some lens which diameter is larger than 77mm, you should buy Cokin X series. Because I can't put the P series filter for the EF 70-200 f/2.8 lens. Woo!! Woo!!

I don't think you can buy Pentax filters in HK, not "hong good" at least. They are expensive btw. You can check out the yen price here:

Kenko Super Pro is not bad for the price, I would recommend it
