i am going to get a DC after X'mas, but I really don't know which one should I get, can anybody help me??

I am a photgraphy student, so the DC I need really have to be good quality, I am ready to spend about $4000 for itm and it has to be at least 4mp, prefectably would be 5mp.

I am thinking of either Olympus or Canon, but I have no idea which model would be the most suitable CD for me.

Can anybody give me some advice???

This is jsut my suggestions:

Canon:

A80
0.5m macro, LCD can flip so that you can take pic of yourself, got manual functions, but it is a bit heavy.
Ixus 400
0.5m macro, Small pocket type, easy to handle, good photo quality too, but too easy for hand shaking when not enough light.

Olympus:

C-750
0.3m macro, Lens got longer range than Canon A80 & Ixus400, got manual functions, a bit heavy.
