I would not download pictures from Canon A80 to my desktop PC. I have already installed the driver provided by the pack and also downloaded the driver specificially for Window ME from Canon website.
However, the software could not recongize any camera even though I have connected it with the destination cable.

Please advise how to fix it.

have you switched to "preview" mode?? Or why not using a card-reader?

edching.....just simply use card reader to avoid trouble and save time.

yes, I have a A80 also and I do not install the software. I use the card-reader, very convenitent.
