may i ask how the AF speed and shutter lag after pre-focus compared to the Nikon D2H and EOS 1D?

and can AF be activated from a button at the back, so as to free the shutter release from re-checking the autofocus again when we really want to fire the camera quickly.

i had no doubt about the picture quality, but just concern on these operational bits.

I think the only problem is... not enough lens... only 4 at this moment... and 1 more is coming out soon...

If there will be a third party lens make 4 Olympus... this will be much better... =^_^=

P.S. if they make more lens for E-1, I will buy E-1 for sure...
since I'm a big fan 2 Olympus...

Olympus E-1並不夠Canon 1D及Nikon D2H, 因為連Canon 10D, 1Ds, D1x 和D100都不夠1D/D2H快。不過, E-1的反應並不比其他DSLR慢，而且對焦非常準確。

E-1的鏡頭雖然只有五支, 但是已經包括由11mm(22mm in 135) 至300mm(600mm in 135), 已經足夠所有的拍攝用途, 特別是14-55mm(28-110mm in 135) 及50-200mm(100-400mm in 135)。老實說其他牌子的鏡頭雖然多, 但是大家會用的來來去去都是那三兩支。

最令我深刻的是E-1的輕巧和扎實。不單是機身, 連鏡頭也是一樣, 令長時間拍攝也不覺辛苦。

測試報告剛剛寫好, 圖片也選好, 看到E-1的影像質素真是一流的。

I totally agreed. Once I hold the E1 on hand and use it, the nice surface finishing and constriction gave me a very high quality feeling. Since my hand is bit small, I sometimes found the hand grip too big for me.
