想買s50，正在掙扎應買黑色還是銀色，我自己較喜愛黑色，但聽有d人講話黑色版s50會易甩色，唔知真定假。各位s50用家請幫幫忙告知小弟，唔該！

1. Is it too late to buy S50 now? Will there a new model coming out soon to replace S50?

2. I got a deal from Broady, HK$3,600.00 with a CF card 32MB PLUS an extrac CF card128MB. But need to pay HK$3,600 cash, is it good deal?

3. Or HK$3,660 I can ask them to accept credit card.

I am a female and want to have my first DC with good quality.

s50 is a good DC for sure. For your reference, those shops in Wanchai are selling s50 行貨 (black version) at $3350 with an extra 64MB CF and 水貨 at around $2950 without CF. I think the price offered by Broadway is ok but of course not the cheapest. For ladies used, it may be a little bit (just a little bit indeed) heavy and bulky, at least my female colleagues think so and they use IXUS instead. But based on its quality, functions and price, I think s50 is still the best buy DC of its rank. As there will be new DC continuing, you can hardly say it's too late or not to buy s50 now. You know those new DC may be selling at a more expensive price then. So if you think the price and function of the camera suit you, just buy it.

Hi McDonald,

I have been waiting to buy DC since early this Summer. I think S50 is a good one but I do not like the followings:

1. Only 3 minutes for video
2. Marco is only 10 CM - that is not close enough
3. Zoom cannot be closer

If the above three points will be improved that will be great. The price is HK$3,600 that is ok to me. I am thinking, Should I wait till Canon improve these features and launch a new S........ Model? Or I had better take S50 as I have been waiting for long time.

I know it is a little heavy but I can put in my handbag that should be ok.
