Is anybody using Kodak DX6440? I am considering it but now hesitate to buy.

I heard that Kodak DC is easy to be broken and "after-sales-service" is very bad.

I use Kodak's DC for more than 6 years. I can tell you that Kodak's after sales service is good.

兩部機最大分別係casio 係三不支援囉
即係:
1. 不支援光圈先決
2. 不支援快門先決
3. 不支援手動曝光
而kodak就支援, 睇下你用唔用到姐, 唔用到其實casio都唔錯

I bought it within one week, have some comments :

a) Good choice for family use (my sister & mother know the operation in few mins), support Chinese menu, AA battery x 2pcs, 1.8" LCD (130K pixel resolution, with high refresh rate, so play back image is very stable and clear

b) Good performance for indoor shot,, because of its F2.2 Lens & power flash-light , support unlimited videdo recording.

c) Great feature : continuous 6 shots in 2 sec. & 4 Meg resolution

a) Not compact size

b) Color may be too saturated , compare with real object.

係咪即係話影out-door唔掂呀??

仲有, 部機係冇手動曝光架喎, 但係點解好多人都話佢影夜景好o既
影夜景唔係要熄閃燈, 手動曝光先靚架咩??

另外, 上面提到顏色會太飽滿, 可唔可以詳細少少講解一下呀??

My colleague's relative from Canada bought a DX6440 and took it to Peking during the X'mas. They liked the pictures of the trip very much, much better than the Canon A80.

Later on their camera was stolen; and they like it so much that they bought another one right away before they returned to Canada. That probably say something about how much they like the picture quality of the camera.

Forgot to mention another thing. After hearing the story and seeing the actual pictures of, another colleague went out to buy the 6440 for his daughter in New Zealand.

Dx6440 同 QvR51 我都用過, 發覺Qv R51
因為display 大, 所以頗食電, 如唔用跟機0個粒2100 rechargeable
battery, 用1800 未必開到機, 相反 6440 用1800 同1600 都ok ,
而且6440 又多 d 野玩, 又可以較到f 2.2大光圈, f13 細光圈,
用既時候靈活 d, 雖然R51 有21種 modes, 但始終mode 係死 ga,
環境係活 ga, 有得較好 d ga I think

顏色真是比其他的飽滿 (但?如拿去曬相會好看一D),

有沒有覺得它的compress ratio 過高
( best quality, 4M photo 只是 1.3M 左右).
