各位友好, 如果小弟冇錢投資在 L 鏡上, 是否買 A1 好過買 300D 呢?

you just use the kit lens and the photos are a lot better than A1 la!!
you even use ISO 100 for A1, there is noise appear!

The size of CMOS of 300D is much larger than the CCD of A1, A1 can't easy show 景深。

Believe me, buy 300D!

agreed, you buy 300D for the bigger CCD, which give you better control of DOF and noise.
And you also got the flexibility of changing lenses match your requirement and budget, so you said you won't buy L lenses now, who knows you won't buy L lenses in a year, or two, or so?
A1 is not bad at all, you get much better portability for having A1, its sometimes a real pain to carry a body plus 2,3 lens.
So depends on your need and budget la.
he.. he... but logically, if I am going to buy L lenses, I am not going to buy 300D, but move up to buy 10D la. 300D is a little in the middle of nowhere in my opinion.
Match 300D with fast prime lenses seems a reasonable compromise to get the best of everything.
Fast lenses + good portability (as prime are usually a lot lighter) + exceptional output quality (prime is even better than L lenses) and finally won't hurt your wallet that much. :D

Using Canon's L lenses on digital camera is a waste of money. An investment on L lenses will yield a good return only if you use it on film cameras.

No doubt 300D produces better images than A1 in terms of noise control and quicker operation. A1 nonetheless gives you a very good range, if not the best, of feature such as anti-shake, wonderful wireless flash, accurate metering and loads of manual control and don't forget it is only $6600 only with a high quality Minolta GT 7x zoom lens.

If you go for absolute picture quality and faster shot-to-shot time, 300D is your choice but you need not to spend a fortune on Canon L lenses as digital photography is still not yet up to the quality of film photography.

agreed. L lens is not a must. Normal lens already provide you a very good quality photo compare with all prosuner DC. Of course, 300D or D-SLR also provide you an option, in case you are chasing the top quality, and got enough money, L lens is always there and waiting for you.

A1係一隻功能好全面o既機種，幾乎所有功能可以直接響機身上調節。
畫質方面一般沖印4R根本同300D無乜分別(除非純夜景)，但講真你影黑夜多D定日頭多D？雜訊高無可否認，但真係接受唔到？又唔係喎，我o地可以避重就輕(我有一張夜景作品http://www.dcfever.com/photosharing/viewphoto.php?photoID=121852)。如果以單鏡機角度審判prosumer機 noise勁，咁樣同prosume機r審判單鏡機function少有乜分別呢？無意思o架。況且如果真係要極端執著最高畫質，幾舊水菲林機都靚過DC啦，或者選擇1Ds，咁樣放入電腦欣賞就PERFECT喇，但荷包就受罪。
另外，雖則攝影速度慢過300D，但你又有幾可影快拍？我本身用A1+microdrive，以為超慢，但實際都唔係播，而且部機掌握得熟可以藉住功能鍵o既方便大大提高調節速度，講真時間性方面差唔得遠，如果單單執著o個零點幾秒而唔考慮整體，難免有點兒那個…
但畢竟要試乎個人需要，係買部機翻o黎就自己用，唔係自己去就部機…
300D支跟機鏡畫質都幾好o架，用唔用L鏡都係視乎要求o者，若果俾o西成套正架生你但技術唔夠，不但浪費o左部機，最緊要係浪費金錢…如果係純綷興趣，A1同300D都好，如果為工作，A1就fail，300D就勉勉強強還可以。單鏡機為升級而買，有繼續發展潛力，prosumer機就fix死o左…
小弟之前情況同你好似，可作參考：
A1+直倒($82xx分期)+3600HS(D)($13xx)+1G Microdrive($11xx)+快門線($2xx)+Goki新電一舊($300)+幾塊Hoya filters(幾舊水)+Lowepro AW200($5xx)+Manfrotto 724B($7xx)+好多垃雜o野(一千度)=一勞永逸(好完整)，仲玩得好開心添！
若300D：
kit機加支短中距L鏡/IS鏡=A1+勁(但浪費o左少少，配落10D或D60會發揮更好)+煩(廣角/中長/長焦距L鏡呢？)+差好多o野(外閃等…)
總結而言，視乎個人需要同財力喇…以上乃小弟愚見，多多包涵。

小弟都唸住邊玩A1邊玩傳單鏡菲林機，蓄幾年技術同錢先狠狠咁殺部至top o既數碼單反機+靚鏡，一來可以俾足夠時間考慮自己係咪真係忠於攝影，免得後悔；二來可按步就班，令自己技術更全面。
希望你能選擇到自己條路^^

m6464大師完完全全反應到我哋哩啲玩紧而且玩得好開心prosumer機嘅用家心理！非常貼切。係人都想至top；好事。不过都要週全考慮。300D、D70、E1...etc 等佢地再成形先慢慢想，IMHO - 用家千奇唔好比家廠牽住走，钱係自己个袋好啲！唔駛慌无冇用，今日又小道消息D200試機出現喇，點睇？

Thank you very much. I've already bought A1 and will buy DSLR later (maybe D70), or waiting till to the price of 1:1 CCD ratio DSLR is reasonable.
