It is a good news as Canon will release a large zoom DC,but some points I concern,

1) Noise problem -- 8MP with only 2/3" CCD (same as F828)
2) No "IS" function
3) The price is US999, same as 300D and D70, although it has UD lens, it cannot change lens.
4) No bulk function.

Anyway, I like Canon very much.
