儘管還流傳著D70的負面消息, 但D70確是一件不錯的拍攝工具, 很多用家投訴她曝光傾向不足, 顏色略淡等等, 其實您的D70不是那麼不濟, 善用其內置的自設模式, 問題自可迎刃而解了。筆者月來喜歡和外國的用家交流, 得出了一些經驗, 謹此與一眾D70同好分享。

筆者不打算在此講述怎樣調較D70的顏色曲線(CURVE), 而以甚獲好評的 White Wedding Curve 解說, 這個曲線的特性是白色還原準確, 膚色表現自然, 並將冷色調略為收斂, 使照片看起來較為討好, 而不失色彩還原的真實性。

首先, 您的電腦必須已經安裝 Nikon Capture 4.1, 修改CURVE的工作在 Nikon Capture Control 內進行; 跟著在以下的鏈結下載曲線檔案, 解壓後得出兩個曲線檔案, 其中一個是本文提到的 White Wedding Curve。

將D70和電腦連接, 執行 Nikon Capture Control, 按【Camera】→【Edit Camera Curve】, 得以下畫面並按【Load】...




找出剛下載並解壓的 fotogenetic_white_wedding_v33 檔案並按【開啟】, 再按【OK】, Curve Setting已被載入D70。

White Wedding Curve是改變了色調(Tone), 跟著做些微調, 你的相片便完全改觀了: (改變這以上這些設定不影響Curve, 設定值只是建議)

Exposure Compensation: +0.3
Flash Compensation: +0.7
AWB: -1
Sharpening: +1
Saturation: +Enhanced

其實, 你亦可以修改Curve, 或者自已建立另一種風格的Curve, 就像有人喜歡Kodak菲林也有人鐘情Fuji一樣, 將你的D70設定更個人化, 期望看到你的大作。

I've try to use custom curve andd find that it is useful but it cannot fulfil each photo at different environments. (Even I take photo under sunlight, some photos are still a little bit under explose, and some of them are little bit over explose, but major of them are good.) So, I prefer to set it to Normal and use NC4.1 to edit the photo at home to suit my needs.

曝光不準一定會有, 除非相片是單一色澤甚至是拍攝一張18%灰咭, 否則世上無一張相片是100%曝光準確的, 問題是你想表達的主題準不準。

3D Color Metering是個好幫手, 但總也不聰明到能估計拍攝者的意願去權衡曝光值, 像場所包含的顏色及所佔比例就非常影響其測光值, 因此, 我強烈建議進階影友應多採用中央重點平均測光或重點測光, 但整體來說, 用3D測光拍出來的照片即使不作後期處理也能即時打印, 因此上文建議+0.3EV補償D70傾向曝光不足的特性, 若著重後期處理的話, 乾脆甚麼也不做, 拍RAW好了。

Sorry, ask you such a stupid question, if I don't select custom setting, of course the curve will not apply and from the manul, if no curve or custom setting has been loaded in the camera, D70 will shoot use 'normal' setting and thus there is no need to have default reset.

By the way, I don't understand '若著重後期處理的話, 乾脆甚麼也不做, 拍RAW好了' Can you explain a little bit about the characteristic of NEF/RAW files, thanks.

RAW 格式是數碼相機的「底片」, 檔案只記錄最原始的感光資料, 可作大幅度的後期處理而不損畫質, 即是說, 色彩飽和度、反差、甚至白平衡等等設定對RAW都不起作用。NEF則記錄了最基本的設定如感光度和白平衡等, 作為開啟RAW檔案的原始參考, 基本上和別家廠家的RAW汲有甚麼分別。
