EV (exposure value) is related to both shutter speed & aperture.

When shooting in indoor or dark enviroment, set the EV to -ve value. The photo quality will be degraded, isn't it? Thanks.

In Aperture priority mode +-EV affects shutter speed.
In Shutter priority mode +- EV affects aperture F stop

+- EV afftect the exposure. The exposure affect the photo quality.

The purpose of +- EV is to give a tool to the photographer to improve the photo quality. A tool can be productive and destructive depends on the user.

如果曝光正確,做乜無端端要-ev.

During shooting in indoor or insufficient light and we do not want flash, we may set higher -EV and ISO value. The shutter speed will faster in aperture priority mode to aviod hand shake. However, the photo quality may affect.

-ev防手震即係會曝光不足,相一定唔靚,唔建議.

Pls note that: **Increase EV will decrease exposure,
**Decrease EV will increase exposure.

e.g. 1 sec /F1.4 is EV1; 1/4 sec / F1.4 is EV3

But within camera compensation system, if u do
+ev will decrease EV but increase exposure.
-ev will increase EV but decrease exposure

Pls make sure that point!
