I want to buy camera between QV-R41 and Ricoh RX?
Which one is better?

你指想影夜景?...佢的內置程式可以Set 慢快門...最長好似有2秒...由於光圈唔會收得好細，正常來說是夠用

之不過我仲想講...R41 一定唔只用到45分鐘咁短
電量(用原裝跟的三洋電)可以差不多有2小時

I have a canon S45 before, When I take night shoot, the pic is not very good, I try to set the mode of auto or night, but the pic still not good and blur.

That why I want to know, is R41 shoot on night OK or not.

How about the Ricoh RX? Which one you will choose? (R41/RX)

I own an R51 and it is more or less the same as the R41 except that it's a5Mp. There is no problem with the battery life at all. I don't know why someone would say it can't last. Must be a joke or something. For the 21 scenes, they are pretty good. I tried (night with portrait) and the result was excellent. I even didn't use a tripod but I did try to hold the cam very still. I wonder if you didn't use a tripod or you are not holding your cam steady enough when taking night pictures. I think your S45 could do better than that, it's a Canon! I haven't tried the RX but think it is also a good candidate especially if you are looking for a cam with wide angle lens. Judging from the spec. it is a decent cam. It also comes with a pretty large lcd to browse your pics. It also uses AA's but don't know if they can last as long as the R41. I think you should try both out at night to compare their qualities. I think, I am not hold the S45 steady enough and I don't have a tripod too.
So I am difficult to shoot the OK photo at night.

From the spec, I think R41 should better than RX, at least R41 has 4Mp.

If it is possible, I wish I can see the photo of R41 and RX too.

Can anyone provide the sample photos?
