當然只係買了kit set, 鏡的質素可能無 8mp機好
但如果係初學 ， 可以玩住先
等將來唔夠玩，才買多d鏡玩。

There's no straightforward answer to this one because everybody has different requirements and only you know what is of most importance for your photography. This is not an exhaustive list, but here are a few things you might want to consider:

Quality of the images produced. Most people agree that the images produced by DSLR cameras are better quality, with higher resolution and lower noise (grain). If image quality is of paramount importance (for example, if you're planning huge enlargements or want to sell your work) then perhaps consider a DSLR. Having said that, the Ax's image quality is perfectly sufficient for most amateurs' needs - and I know of at least one professional landscape photographer who uses a Minolta prosumer as his back-up camera.

Noise at high ISOs. The Ax undoubtedly produces more noise at high ISOs (i.e. ISO 400 and above) than DSLRs do. If you do a lot of night or sports photography this may be an issue. For amateurs needs, cleaning up the images with noise remover software works very well, but it all depends on your requirements. Also bear in mind that some Axs have a "magenta stripe" visible at ISO 800 once the camera has heated up (see the magenta band FAQ.)

ISO range. The Ax provides ISO up to 800, whereas DSLRs provide ISO of at least 1600 and possibly higher. Even at ISO 1600, a DSLR is likely to have less noise than an Ax at ISO800 and may therefore a better choice for someone who needs the ability to freeze the action with relatively clean photos.

Anti-shake. DSLRs do not have this facility built-in. If you want it, you'll have to buy more expensive "IS" or "VR" lenses. Not only does the Ax have this facility built in, but the LCD will tell you when the camera "thinks" you need to switch it on. AS enables you to take handheld shots at generally lower shutter speeds than a DSLR fitted with an IS/VR lens because the camera is lighter than a DSLR.

Weight/size. A DSLR with a selection of lenses will weigh at least twice as much as an Ax and take up more space. Something to consider if you plan to carry your camera around your neck all day or want to take it backpacking round the Andes. Or if you are worried about security and want an unobtrusive camera, e.g. for street photography.

Cleaning. An Ax is a sealed unit, which makes it much less likely that the sensor will be affected by dust and dirt. A DSLR has interchangeable lenses and its sensor will "attract" dust over time even if you rarely change your lens.

Cost. Prices vary from country to country but as a general rule of thumb an Ax will cost roughly half what you would pay for a DSLR with one IS/VR lens.

Features. An Ax will allow you to select some filter effects (e.g. warm/cool) in-camera, to shoot up to 1/16000th sec (A1), to record moving images and to take macro shots. I know of no DSLR currently on the market that will allow you to do these things without the purchase of extra equipment. Also remember that not all DSLRs have an on-board flash. On the other hand, a DSLR offers much greater flexibility in terms of zoom range/focus range/macro if you are prepared to spend the money.

Upgrading. If you like to upgrade regularly, a DSLR may hold on to its value better on the secondhand market. Minolta tend to supersede previous DiMAGE models by bringing out a new model every few months. If you want to experiment with different types of photography, e.g. macro, infra-red, etc. in my opinion you have greater flexibility with a DSLR.

Power. Unless you buy a battery pack, with the Ax you are dependent on using a custom rechargeable battery and charger supplied by Minolta. Many (but not all) DSLRs use AA batteries which can be purchased cheaply pretty much anywhere in the world.

Shooting. The Ax does allow you to shoot in preset modes (e.g. "portrait", "sport", etc) although personally I feel you will get better performance if you learn enough to make decisions about exposure without relying on presets. Some of the lower-end DSLRs have a few preset modes, but many have none at all. In my opinion DSLRs are not designed for "point and shoot"photographers.

if you want shallow depth of field (e.g. portrait), fast shutter (like sports, wildlife, and birds in flight), go with DSLR.

DSLR also allows you to grow as you gain expereince and have a fatter wallet. You can add all knids of lens later to your hert's content (that can prove very addictive and costly though. Talk to you wife or your girlfriend on this first).

if you want landscape, small package (e,g, you move around a lot), street photography that your camera doesn't become appear too intrusive, or just a one-size fit all, then a digicam may be all you need.

For macro, I know lots of people love DSLR. I don't have enough experience in this but keep thinking the greater depth of field prosumer scan offer seems to have an edge here. I stand to be corrected on this though.

Perhaps you may also want to think hard and ask yourself whether you really need 8M though. Unless you do many A2 or A3 size prints all the time, or do heavy cropping afterward (think before you shoot can avoid this most of the time), a 5M prosumer can be more than adequate.

whatever your choose, enjoy it. It is more important to go out and shoot with it, then comparing specs in forums like this afterwards or be overly concerned with minor imperfection in your choice. there is no single perfect camera. it is more important how you learn to put your tool to work best for you.

agree with 小小生, the real price of playing DSLR is the lenses you will be buying.
Any lens will at least cost you several thousands, say, a canon 80-200 f2.8 is 9000.

8mp機係比你一機走天下，28-200mm鏡頭已經係正啦!!
加上8mp，專業功能，又無DSLR機噤大部!!
去旅行比起用DSLR機方便好多!!

如果DSLR機(例d70同300d)，買機本身得支28-80 / 28-50，一定唔夠用啦!!買支nikon小黑/canon小白(28-200mm鏡頭)又要比多五千至一萬。買得DSLR機好少唔買燈，噤又要比多二千多元啦) er.....
DSLR機唔係買部機便得，DSLR機的靈魂係鏡頭(可以幾百元一支又可以成萬元又得!!)

所以大家唔好係咪都叫人買DSLR機，唔係便慘了!!

斷規格可能300D支跟機鏡冇8M機咁好,計埋感光完件,在大太陽下可能各有千秋.一暗啲8M機即刻投降.
DC的iso越出越低.相係靚呀,可惜機動性就越來越差.室內用iso50都唔知要幾耐快門先掂.
8M機除咗焦距有優點外,唔加外閃影相都唔好得過DC仔好多.

但300d 就算只加kit lens, 質素已經好過dc 仔好多.
(因為300d 既cmos size, 係大過dc 仔好多嫁)
