s60就黎出啦!!!
6月18日o係日本就有得賣啦!!

大家黎講下對s60有無興趣啦..........

本都都有考慮一下買S60，有28mm，又多手動Setting，不過最後都無，因為沒有3:2相片模式、個人又不太喜歡開機關機要Sliding個蓋、及Movie模式跟Sony的差得太遠。不過S600的28mm to 100mm確實不錯、又有3.6X Zoom、全功能的闊銀幕模式等。

講開 Sony 個 Movie,
好奇怪,Sony D 新機係就係有640x480,but 再落就係160x120,無左中間個320x240. 我覺得640個file size 又太大,160又睇得唔係好清楚. +__+

但我又諗s50而家only $3280 再送256Mb CF......
等唔等s60好呢??

其實都不是太難「諗」，第一：S60有28mm to 100mm，好多機沒有28mm (包括S50)；第二：電池領航力又比S50多26%；第三：對焦及快門反應又比S50快…等等，給我比多少少錢都買S60啦！

其實我唔考慮s50都係唔鍾意佢開機慢左o的o的....snap下都唔得
我都好喜歡Canon o的相.
而我相信新機係noise,sharpness,同反應速度都會好o的,哈哈.....哈哈.......

I read that some guys give very low marks for this DC in the User Review. Are those reviews fair?? Is S60 such a bad DC???

外國已經有不少朋友取了機作測試了，我想只作參考，沒有太多的Sample，可能Canon方面要求各方面不要post相，不過我看過有兩三個的測試者對其ISO400有著相同的意見：

I took home a Canon Powershot S60 yesterday, used it briefly to take a couple dozen test photos last evening and this morning. Here are my initial impressions of the camera on the things that are important to me.

What I liked:
- Beautiful color outdoor, very good color indoor, using auto WB.
- Good sharpness and detail.
- Pretty good autofocus speed, even on subjects in dimly lit rooms.

- Shots taken at ISO 50 and 100 are relatively noise free and are smooth looking.

- Chromatic aberration is very well controlled, no unpleasant purple fringing detected in any of my test shots! Beats all A, S, and G series Canons that I’ve used.

- 10fps VGA movies are surprisingly fun and have usable quality.

- Excellent ergonomics when compare to other Canon point and shoots that I’ve used.

- Very good battery life, quick battery recharge, nice portable plug-in charger.

What could be improved:
- Shots taken at ISO 400 are very noisy.
- Above average barrel distortion at 28mm.
- 100mm tele is more limiting than what I originally thought it would be.
- 30 seconds limit on the 10fps VGA movie is often not enough, why?
- The thinner body is harder for me to hold it steady.


The S60 is the closest thing to what I am currently looking for in quite sometime, that is, an easy to carry camera that takes excellent picture and also usable short movies of my 8 months old son. Since the kid is likely to be moving all the time, either a fast lens or usable high ISO is necessary. In short, I am hoping for the equivalent of a Canon Digital Rebel with VGA movie mode, perhaps in a more compact body. I will need to do more testing before I decide whether or not to keep the S60.
