Thx a lot~
Actually, i did red it already. However i still really confused that do i need to run far away from the object which i would want to shoot. And i would want to have some pro-recommendations from every one who feel free to help. However it seems that my question is not interesting at all. People seems interested in some questions which are comparing Digital Cameras.
In fact, i'm not the kind of ppl which only ask questions on "discussing board" and never try to seek/search the answers by themself. I'm not that kind of ppl, at all! The reason is that i'm a beginner of DC photographing and i'm not living in HongKong actually. I could not walk around the camera shops in MK to see any new DCs available, how much are they, etc . . . I do also want to find the answers by myself and learn by myself, unfortunatly it's very difficult to find a book to learn in chianese, as my english doesn't good enough. So i ask questions on the internet is the easiest way for me to learn. Not because i'm lazy.
anyway.... thx for the link, matcc.

My friend, there is definite answer for your question.
First of all, if you are using DC, sorry, it is tough to have good DOF because size of CCD/CMOS is really small. Secondly, aperature is also matter. Technically speaking, bigger the aperature, greater the DOF. Lastly, like you said, focal range is also important.
I use DSLR with 50mm F1.8
Focal range is not that "far away" but the F1.8 is good enough to produce good DOF. Therefore, there is no definite answer for your question.
