未必,20D係針對D70黎砌,但D70又出左冇耐,邊得咁快轉款呀,須然20D個spec係好過10D一D,但係冇話過佢係metal機身,所以級數未必高過10D,所以估佢個價應該同D70 kit差唔多.

20D一定不是以D70 (雖然Nikon D70比Canon 300D有很多地方都優勝) 作對像，20D的機身都要USD1499…
另外，Canon方面表明，20D使用ISO 1600的情況下，Noise的數量都只有10D的ISO400表現。相信Nikon方面都會出一部同級機來作競爭。

Canon announces EOS-20D, preview available
Well, this was once supposed to be a big surprise but yet AGAIN Canon "accidentally" released the information about this camera early. Being the nice person that I am, I honored the NDA which I signed several months ago, which allowed me to bring you the preview that I have for you today.
Those of you who have been waiting for a replacement to the 10D need not wait any longer -- the EOS-20D is here and it's great (based on initial impressions). It has a higher resolution CMOS sensor, much faster performance, new white balance controls, a smaller body, and more. Read all the details in our preview, and look for the final review in the not-too-distant future. Now, here's what's new with the 20D:

8.2 effective Megapixel CMOS sensor, produces images at 3504 x 2336
EF and EF-S lens mount; support for the EF-S mount lets you use the lower cost lenses mentioned in the news item below this one
Shoots at 5 frames/second, up to 23 shots in a row (in JPEG mode); I was able to shoot even more than that
Near-instant startup time
New E-TTL II flash exposure system "for highly stable, accurate and intelligent exposure calculations."
Lower noise levels: Canon says ISO 1600 on the 20D is equal to ISO 400 on the 10D
New 9-point autofocus system (you can select a point manually, of course)
Smaller and lighter than its predecessor
DIGIC2 image processor gives the camera its robust performance
Full manual controls, of course; shutter speed range of 30 - 1/8000 sec, plus unlimited length in bulb mode
Enhanced white balance functions (see preview for details)
USB 2.0 High Speed port (works with USB 1.1 as well)
Higher capacity battery than 20D or Digital Rebel
New .CR2 RAW image format
Choose from AdobeRGB or sRGB color spaces
PictBridge-enabled
Comes in three kits:
Body only for $1499
With 18-55 mm EF-S lens for $1599
With 17-85 mm EF-S IS lens for $1999

還有一點補充，Canon官方網站都說明20D是10D的後繼機種，還例舉出很多改良的地方…所以不明你為何這樣說？？有點奇怪…

20D既數字比10D低,分浙如果係後繼這非Canon一般慣例,新野更好過舊架啦,20D個spec係好過10D就一定啦,D70好多野好過D100喎,咁你可唔可以話D70係D100既後繼機種丫,睇下弟日個街價賣幾多咪知我估得正唔正確囉,

順理成章，Nikon會出D100的後繼機來對20D，不過以20D的spec來睇，有點兒像D70面世時的情況一樣：玩大左。D70出時，好多人覺得個spec已經去到好盡，連D100都贏埋，再出就無mud空間改進了，而家20D贏D70個spec的地方主要都係像數、連拍、機身物料等，D100後繼機就來來去去都係玩呢兩三樣野，最多就推多幾支新鏡你買下啦。

其實D70本身絕對無需急於轉款，因其檔次價位重有一年半載玩下。而家出埋20D，個分野仲明顯添，六七千玩300D、八九千玩D70，皮鬆D野玩20D，敢就大家都有得玩啦！

不過我反為幾希望DSLR出埋個隻扭拎LCD，抄高抄低時方便好多。

以本人有些開舖的朋友所告之，20D有了街價：機身為$11000 to $12000左右，這個價錢一定不是你所說是跟D70 Kit價錢差不多 ($9990)，那我一定有所保留，應該會貴一到二千元左右，而且你還要知道那只是機身，不連鏡頭。第二點，D20為金屬機身這一點，加上其他方面，必定是10D的後繼機種 (最重要是Canon方面都出了新聞稿都說20D是10D的後繼機種，連廠方都這樣說，不容否定吧？)

To dcnut朋友：

應該暫時可能性不大，因為DSLR一向不能以LCD取影拍攝，可能你不清楚？

as a consumer, we would like to see more and cheaper DSLR so that we could have more choices. However, once we've bought the "latest" model, we don't want to see new and cheaper models very soon.....interesting! Anyway, I really want to see if Nikon can release new model.
