What are the uses of these functions?

一次性對焦
權衡式測光
中央偏重平均測光


I am interested in buying a 300D.
but i know from http://www.dcfever.com/reviews/Canon/eos300d/ that 300D does not have some of the above functions....

Is this a big problem?
