I have bought G5 earlier this month (september) with 128 Sandisk CF with $4280 in Wing Shing.
The cam is made in Japan.

so far I am quite satisfied with my G5,I believe it's cheaper than pro 600

G5 has bigger aperture and a built ND len
I think it's more balanced in size and the vari-angle mon is very useful and so on..............

if you buy G5,do also buy a adapter and an UV len
it's better to equip them rather than just covering the len with the original len cap which is VERY LOOSE.........
