I have experienced the Canon CMOS cleaning service.

First they sent my 10D to a wrong address, I got it eventually and the dust still there. I returned and still dust in the CMOS and eventually I lodged complaint, and they cleaned it.

Even worst, the staff told me that they just simply used a cloth to clean the CMOS which eventually found he was lied to me when I spoke with the so call person-in-charge of the Service Centre. Um Canon..... $300-hk each time.....

if the dust do not affect the image, why insist to clean it.

Try Wing Shing / Man Shing, they should have some CMOS cleaning kits something around $300-400 but can be used for few times. Never try to clean it but other means.

In addition, unless you always use small apreture (i.e. bigger number, over 8, 11 etc..... sorry I am not professional), otherwise, don't bother it.

Or pay $300 to Canon to experience their unprofessional factory standard service.
